Hiya! I'm Samantha Monaghan, a self-proclaimed chronic ​overachiever with a little bit of OCD, but more importantly, ​I'm a proud nerd with an undying love for video games! You'll ​often find me indulging in the newest movies, savouring every ​bite as a massive foodie or travelling the world!
I graduated with a first-class BDes Honours degree in Games ​Design and won the Student Choice Award along the way. My ​specialization lies in Game Production, specifically laser-​focused on Production Management, Pre-Production and Event ​Organization. To date I’ve helped out on 1st and 3rd person ​shooters, platformers, 2D walking sims, VR action-adventure ​games, and much more.

My latest craving! This game took me multiple tries over a few years to finally onboard to. Now that I’m in, I can’t escape it!
All the Lego games ultimately consumed my childhood and now my adult life too. My absolute ride or die games and I don’t even like Star Wars Movies?!?!
Everyday, without miss, I will log on, harvest my pumpkins and purchase everything in Scrooge’s shop. No shame in it!
My soft spot - with co-op starts many laughs and arguments with family and friends. Cherished memories.
My bank account bleeds, but its worth it.
These are the reason I am where I am today - good mental space and in an amazing industry.

I am a current teacher of production software ​to kids as well as the producer for Kippie ​Games creating ParkTails. I recently became a ​Director of​ Kippie CIC!
University Dissertation - 2023
A short dissertation based on industry producers/production roles and how they differentiate based on studio classification
Elemental - 2023
Final year solo project, 3rd person hub-world platformer. I took the roles of programmer, level designer, producer, UI/UX.
Technoblade Project - 2022
I was responsible with coordination of ModSquad/Hypixel Inc to create 5 copies of 23 books with 400k condolences messages.
Hypixel Studios/riot - 2022
Picking up production assistant, personal assistant and workplace experience tasks daily, I learned versatile skills when working on Hytale.
Foyle Friends of Ukraine - 2022
I was responsible for launching this CIC as a sub-role in Hypixel Studios. From technical setups to temp-homing over 50 Ukrainian families.

Artemis - 2022
A group vertical slice between 10 students in game design and animation. I was the team lead, producer and level designer.
Global Game Jam 2022
I helped organize and facilitate the Global Game Jam at Farset Labs and also Hypixel Studios.
Iron Seed - Global Game Jam 2021
A 3rd person tower defence game with nature. I was the producer for a game jam team of 8 students held in Hypixel Studios.

Assailment - 2021
A VR grapple hook, action, time trial game made with 5 game design students. I was the team lead, producer and level designer.

Jewelluminations - 2021
IA 3rd person shooter level designed using various different industry techniques including scripted sequences for cutscenes.

Genshin UI - 2021
I reworked and debunked Genshin Impacts original UI design to balance and cater to hardcore gamers and also casual gamers.


Retro Runner - 2020
My first solo prototype, a FPS inside a maze. I took the roles of programmer, level designer, producer, UI/UX.
Elvish - 2020
An environment following the pipeline of Polygon Treehouse - Roki. I was the team lead, producer and 3D artist for some props.
